Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini has ruled out a potential reunion with Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure this summer.
Mancini brought Toure to City during his time in charge of the club but dismissed rumours that they could be reunited this summer when speaking to Eurosport after a pre-season friendly with CSKA Sofia, claiming that Inter had ‘no hope’ of luring him to the San Siro.
I can say that he’s [Toure’s] still one of the best midfielders in the world, but now I think there’s no hope of seeing him with us,

Toure has been continually linked with a move away from City since the appointment of Pep Guardiola, who sold the Ivorian during his tenure at Barcelona. However, in Guardiola’s opening press conference as City manager, he stated that he was eager to work with Toure again.
The 33-year-old is understood to be on an intense fitness program alongside teammate Samir Nasri, both of whom are deemed to be unfit by Guardiola.

Toure could, however, fall down the pecking order in Manchester, with Fernandinho being a personal favourite of new boss Guardiola and Ilkay Gundogan being recruited from Borussia Dortmund.
