Now that the Euro’s are over (finally!) we get back to focusing on club football. The transfer window has now been open for almost two weeks and all the clubs are looking to secure their long-term targets.
The market has been slow arguably because of the Euro’s but now the transfer dealings will gather pace as the clubs prepare pre-season tournaments. Manchester City are going through a rebuilding process to fix the errors of last season and mount a serious title challenge this term and go all the way in the Champions League. They have a new badge, a new manager in Pep Guardiola and there is excitement ahead of the new season.
Pre-season is mostly for building up fitness ahead of the new campaign but in the past few years there is some importance added to these games.Manchester City face Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal in pre-season before their Premier League opener against Sunderland on 13th August and the line-ups in pre-season will be much different to the line-up against Sunderland.
So how will Manchester City line up against Sunderland?
