Manchester City are prepared to meet Torino’s €25m (£21.3m) asking price for in-demand right-back Bruno Peres, according to Italian news outlet La Stampa .

The Serie A outfit turned down City’s initial €15m (£12.8m) offer for the Brazilian, who is also wanted by Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, but new manager Pep Guardiola is ready to stump up the demanded fee.
Peres, 26, is seen as a replacement for Pablo Zabaleta, who is closing in on a move to Italy with either Inter Milan or Roma, and has been labelled one of the best right-backs in Europe.

With Barcelona and PSG yet to submit official bids for Peres, City appear to be leading the race. However, Sky Sports reports that Watford are closing monitoring the situation and Roma will turn to Peres if they fail in their aforementioned bid to sign Zabaleta.
Peres could become the fifth arrival at the Etihad since Guardiola took over, following Ilkay Gundogan, Aaron Mooy, Nolito and Oleksandr Zinchenko.
