City’s summer transfer targets: Will they join?

With the addition of German international Ilkay Gundogan on Thursday morning, attentions have already turned to who Manchester City will sign next as a busy transfer window looms this summer.

John Stones, Aymeric Laporte and Danny Rose have been identified as the youngsters to strengthen a scrutinised defence; Toni Kroos and Paul Pogba are thought to be the ones to add even more strength to the midfield, and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and Leroy Sane have been linked as possible attacking targets to help take the burden off Sergio Aguero, and fill the void left by the outgoing Wilfried Bony (albeit not a particularly large one).

It is hoped the lure of Pep Guardiola as manager and Champions League football will be enough to attract even more top players to the Etihad, but just who exactly is on Pep’s radar and how likely are we of pulling off a deal for them? I take a look:
