Pep Guardiola will officially take the reins at Manchester City on July 1st and there’s already a buzz about potential summer signings.
Ilkay Gundogan, Aymeric Laporte, Paul Pogba amongst others have been touted as possible arrivals as Guardiola looks to take City to a different level and impose a new way of playing.
But to do that, he may well look towards some of his trusted players from Bayern Munich to make the transition in playing style smoother.
Bayern have already been preparing for life after Pep – with Carlo Ancelotti the new man at the Allianz. Big moves for Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels and Benfica starlet Renato Sanches have already been sealed.
