Earlier this week, we ran a duel asking fans to vote for City’s best ever Premier League home shirt.
The Duel feature pitted two shirts up against each other. Fans chose the best of the pair, and that shirt moved onto the next duel, against another – and so on and so forth, in a ‘winner stays on’ type scenario.
Then, a leaderboard was created using the percentage of duels won by each shirt.
Some people aren’t too fussed when it comes to shirts – as long as they look fairly nice and the players perform well wearing it. But others hold the belief that the shirt is what represents the club and it’s essential that it portrays the club in a positive light.
In total, there were 17 shirts in contention and we’ve decided to narrow it down to the best five, according to the results of our a duel feature.
