Manchester City look to continue their impressive run of form at St James’ Park on Tuesday when they play relegation-threatened Newcastle United.
After a dismal run of results, City look to have turned a corner following three Premier League wins on the bounce as well as reaching the Champions League semi-finals.
City produced one of their most complete performances in recent memory when they dismantled Chelsea 3-0. Sergio Aguero hit a stunning hat-trick and City fans were also treated to yet another wonderful performance from Kevin De Bruyne.
No doubt they will be looking for more of the same against Newcastle. However, there are some injury concerns for City. Bacary Sagna is nursing a back injury while Samir Nasri has a slight muscle injury. David Silva’s ankle problems mean he is ruled out of this one. Gael Clichy is also out.
But City are boosted by the returns of Vincent Kompany after his latest calf injury, and Raheem Sterling, who is in the squad for this game.
Bearing the injury news in mind, how will City line up against Newcastle?
Here is our Predicted XI.
