Manchester City made it three wins in three after beating champions Chelsea 0-3 at Stamford Bridge in the late kick-off.
A Sergio Aguero hat-trick, his 21st goal of the season, was the difference between the two sides and the win was Manuel Pellegrini’s 100th as City manager.
Kevin De Bruyne carried on his scintillating run of form with another fine performance, capped with an assist, and Samir Nasri proved how important he is to this City side with another commendable outing for the Blues, as he too picked up and assist and also managed passing accuracy of 95%.
City play host to Stoke City next, where they will look to avenge themselves having been beaten 2-0 at the Brittannia Stadium earlier this season.
But as for this performance, it made for wonderful viewing from a City perspective and there were a host of impressive performers for Manuel Pellegrini’s side.
