Manchester City released some pleasing news for fans on Monday evening – season ticket prices for the 2016/17 campaign will be the same as this term.
Having vastly increased the prices in the past few seasons, fans were concerned that next year’s fees could price them out renewing their membership.

Fans were also angered by the ticket prices (£60 for an adult) for Wednesday night’s clash with French giants Paris Saint-Germain and some have organised a boycott of the match.
However, Manchester Evening News revealed that Pep Guardiola’s first year at the helm of the Citizens would cost the same amount to watch as Manuel Pellegrini’s last.

As it stands, City’s season ticket price is one of the lowest in the Premier League and the club have maintained a good reputation for listening to their fans over the club’s issues, such as the decision of what club crest should replace the current one.
