West Ham are eyeing a move for Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony, according to reports in the Telegraph.
It’s thought that the Hammers’ top summer transfer target is Michy Batshuayi from Marseille but should that not materialise, the London club have listed Bony as an alternative.
One issue surrounding Bony, though, and to an extent Benteke, is his current wage figure at City.
Co-Chairman David Sullivan has admitted that this could cause a problem for his club.
Bony may well be up for the chop at City though, with incoming manager Pep Guardiola likely wanting to add some new faces to his squad – particularly in the striker department.

The Ivorian has struggled to replicate his form at Swansea with the Blues, scoring eight goals for Manuel Pellegrini’s men this season but never really seen as a reliable replacement when Sergio Aguero is unavailable.
City paid around £28m to bring Bony to the Etihad in January 2015.
