Manchester City’s title-shot took a blow this lunchtime as they drew a blank against a relegation threatened Norwich City. City manager Manuel Pellegrini, who said there was ”little room for error” in the build-up to the game, will be incredibly angered at his side’s inability to score against a Norwich side who have struggled to keep any clean sheets in recent games. City’s poor away record continues
City started brightly and Aguero came close with a strike that stung the palms of Norwich keeper John Ruddy. City pushed and pushed but ultimately couldn’t break down a sturdy Norwich defence. City will have to hope that the likes of Spurs, Leicester and Arsenal fail to beat their respective opponents in the coming games.
City’s next game in the league is the Manchester Derby in a week’s time, they face Dynamo Kiev on Tuesday night in a game which they lead 1-3 on aggregate.
