Manchester City’s away day blues showed no signs of stopping as a goalless draw against Norwich left the Blues with a mountain to climb in the title race.
Chances were limited in what was a largely scrappy affair between two sides desperate for the three points, but Norwich will feel the happier of the two after igniting their fight against relegation.
Sergio Aguero and Fernandinho had chances for City and Patrick Bamford hit the bar for the Canaries but a goal never arrived as City succumbed to their fifth 0-0 of the season, two of which have come against Aston Villa and now Norwich; two of the worst defences in the league.
City now lie nine points behind Leicester in fourth, who play Newcastle on Monday night, with the need for Pep Guardiola seemingly appearing more obvious.
