Manuel Pellegrini and Manchester City are on a roll; correct about fielding a weakened team in the FA Cup last weekend in order to get a result in Ukraine and correct about sticking to his word and playing Caballero in Sunday’s cup final. City are in good form but can the Chilean get it right once more and make it a hat-trick at Anfield on Wednesday night?
A win on penalties was enough to lift silverware at Wembley just days ago, but the 1-1 result in 90 minutes would have only given us a draw. Now in Anfield, City face an even tougher test of accumulating some well-needed league points. Although Leicester and Spurs remained in good stead, Arsenal slipped and City still have a chance at this title.
