February has been a testing month for Manchester City and it doesn’t get any less gruelling, as an away tie at Chelsea looms on Sunday.
Rejuvenated under interim manager Guus Hiddink, Chelsea are unbeaten domestically since his arrival. City, on the other hand, are in the midst of a dispiriting run of form, following two devastating home defeats to fellow title rivals.
With a clogged schedule and a series of injuries to key players, it is widely acknowledged that City will field a youthful side come Sunday afternoon. Various media outlets have speculated that there could be as many as seven EDS players heavily involved.
Following on from a similar piece written before the third round tie at Norwich, I will attempt to predict just five of the academy products we will see at Stamford Bridge, starting with the most likely to start.
