Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero wants his side to improve against the top sides after another disappointing defeat.
City narrowly lost out to Spurs on Sunday, following a miserable home defeat inflicted by another title rival Leicester City.

It continues an unwanted record for the Blues, who have lost four of their six games against the current top five this season.
The only games in which they avoided defeat were 0-0 draws against Manchester United and Leicester City respectively.
And Aguero admits it is not good enough.
Speaking to the Mirror, he said:
If we want to win the league, we have to win against our biggest contenders.
City are still in all four competitions but are going through a tough patch and now face a difficult run-in with games against Chelsea and Dynamo Kiev in separate competitions.
Aguero has returned to form and has scored eight goals in his last eight appearances.

He admits the team are aware that with such high ambitions comes added pressure.
We have set ourselves high goals, but we know it’s not easy to win every competition. We’ll be doing everything we can to try and make it happen, but we’re conscious that as we advance in each tournament, the harder it gets.I hope we can keep up the fight, but I’m well aware that other major teams will compete fiercely for the trophies too, so we will need to be at our very best from now until the end of the season if we are to achieve our aims.”
