Manchester City defender Nicolas Otamendi wants his side to avenge the loss to West Ham in the reverse fixture when the two sides meet at Upton Park on Saturday.
Prior to the September clash at the Etihad, City had been unbeaten in the Premier League and yet to concede a league goal.
But in Otamendi’s first start for the club, West Ham were the surprise victors with a 2-1 win.

And the Argentine was disappointed to lose the game, which ended a strong run of form in the Premier League.
Speaking to the official City website , he said:
That was very disappointing and we weren’t at our best. They took the game to us early on and played well. We came back into it but by the time we started playing, we were already 2-0 down and we couldn’t find a way back.
West Ham currently lie in sixth place in the league and have already picked up home wins over Chelsea and Liverpool this season. Otamendi predicts a tough test but sees it as the sort of game that would show the champion quality.

The game against West Ham will be very important for us because we are in the title race, fighting game by game, and we need to reach a consistency with a series of wins. We know it won’t be easy because they are a good side with some very good players, many of whom are in a good moment. I hope we work well as a team and get all the three points as these are the type of games that define champions
