Wilfried Bony categorically denied rumours that he was pondering a move away from Manchester City, insisting he has had no regrets following his move in January last year.
Although he recently voiced some frustration at a lack of regular first team action and being dropped for the trip to Arsenal, the Ivorian’s latest comments would suggest reports of an exit are wide of the mark.
Speaking to BBC Sport, Bony said “I’m happy at the Club. All this speculation is not true. I have a contract so I’m happy and I think I am at one of the top clubs in the United Kingdom.”
Wilfried has three and a half years remaining on his City contract and has scored 8 goals in 23 appearances in all competitions this season.
Bony further stressed “I have no regrets about joining Man City. We play in the Champions League and are one of the top clubs in the World. I can just say I’m blessed.”
