Manchester City youngster Bersant Celina could be set to join Celtic on loan for the remainder of the season.
According to reports, Celtic are looking to bring the young midfielder on loan for the rest of the season, and Man City could aree to the deal to allow Celina to gain some more first-team experience.
Celina was a highly rated youngster in Norway and could link up with his former Stromsgodset manager.
The 19-year-old made his senior debut for the Premier League club against Norwich City in the third round of the FA Cup at the weekend and impressed during his five-minute cameo performance.
Ronny Deila and John Collins were spotted at Goodison Park last week and watched on as Everton beat Manchester City 2-1.
Much of the early speculation was about Everton winger Aiden McGeady, however, John Collins ruled out a move for the 29-year-old last week.
Instead Deila and Collins met with officials from City to discuss a number of things including Celina, a player the Celtic boss is very familiar with.
Celtic are set to be rivalled by several Championship clubs for his signature, who would become the third player from City’s ranks to move to the league champions in recent years.
Jason Denayer spent a year on loan at the Scottish Champions last season and Dedryck Boyata joined them for £1.5 million during the summer.
