Manchester City are interested in signing left-back Aaron Cresswell from West Ham United, according to reports .
However, Liverpool are also said to be keen on the former Ipswich man.
Cresswell joined the Hammers in 2014 for a free of around £3.5million but is now being linked with the two North West powerhouses with a £15million fee being reported as the likely cost to get West Ham to sell.

City have had teething problems in the left-back berth, with neither Aleksandar Kolarov or Gael Clichy truly establishing themselves as first-choice.
The Blues have been linked with Cresswell in the past and the 26-year old is homegrown – which is of huge benefit for Manuel Pellegrini’s side.

It is thought that City would prefer a summer move for the defender, while Liverpool would be keen on signing Cresswell in the current window after being dealt a series of injury blows.
Cresswell has been a regular for West Ham this season, missing just one Premier League game for the Hammers.
