Manchester City skipper Vincent Kompany is set for another spell out of action after re-injuring his calf in City’s 4-1 rout over Sunderland last Saturday.
City were without Kompany in their top of the table clash with Leicester on Tuesday evening, but managed to keep a clean sheet as they drew 0-0 with the Foxes.
After the game, manager Manuel Pellegrini gave an update regarding Kompany’s fitness and confirmed that the City captain would be set for yet another month on the sidelines at the very least.

Vincent has an injury, a second degree tear of the calf. We will see how long he will be out, but I don’t think it will be less than 3-4 weeks.
I am not a doctor, but with a muscle injury, it will be very difficult for him to be back in less than four weeks. But without him, we must continue to defend as did tonight (against Leicester).
Manchester City will be hoping that the injury of Kompany will not hinder their chances ahead of their next game as they prepare to take on Watford on Saturday.
