Manchester City continued their wretched run of away form, succumbing to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Arsenal.
The Blues started off reasonably well and controlled the opening half hour. Kevin De Bruyne squandered a rare opportunity in front of goal and City would then pay the price.
Walcott leathered in a sublime strike out of nowhere for the opener, before Arsenal seized on some slack City play to add a second; Giroud, this time, firing behind Hart.
The home side could have bagged a couple more goals, but they had to settle for a one-goal lead when Yaya Toure delicately lifted the ball into Petr Cech’s top corner.
The goal, though, only proved to be a consolation, and leaves City four points behind the Gunners.
