Mundo Deportivo report that Pep Guardiola will leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season and take the reins at Manchester City next term.
The Guardiola talk has been around for a while now but has quietened with news from Germany that the former Barca boss was to sign a new deal with Bayern.
However, this new story indicates that Bayern are now expecting Guardiola to leave the club when his contract expires in the summer, after a three-year spell with the Bavarian giants.

It is thought that coaching in England is a huge goal of Guardiola’s and with the Spaniard still having ties to Txiki Begiristain and Ferran Soriano from their Barca days, City would appear to be the perfect opportunity to fulfil that wish.

Manuel Pellegrini signed a one-year extension at the start of this season though many believed the idea was to quash the ‘Pep talk’.
Guardiola, a treble winner with Barcelona in 2011, is considered to be one of the most tactically shrewd coaches around and would take over from Pellegrini, who won the Premier League title and League Cup in his first season with the club.
Now 62 though, it is clear that the Chilean is not a long-term option for City and they would likely look to Guardiola, someone who fits the profile perfectly, to come in and take the team to the next level.
