According to A Bola, Manchester City have shown interest in Benfica youngster Goncalo Guedes and reportedly had scouts watch the 18-year old’s last three games.
Guedes, a forward who primarily operates on the right, has made 13 appearances for Benfica this season and is said to be one of the top talents at the club.

According to reports, Portuguese super-agent Jorge Mendes could play a crucial role in any potential transfer.
Mendes has been behind a number of high-profile deals in recent times and was involved in Manchester City signing Eliaquim Mangala and Nicolas Otamendi over a two-year period.

He represents Guedes and City may well be hoping that their previous dealings with Mendes may get them a discounted price on the player – who has a staggering €60m release clause.
The last man to move from Benfica to City was Spanish midfielder, Javi Garcia, who won a Premier League title under Manuel Pellegrini in the 2013/14 campaign.
The Blues have also been linked with a move for another Benfica starlet – 21-year old winger Victor Andrade who is the godson of former City man Robinho.
