Fabian Delph’s nightmare run with injuries looks set to continue.
The midfielder, currently on international duty, sat out training today and is likely to miss the game against France at Wembley on Tuesday.

Delph has had his fair share of horrid luck in his time at City and pulled up with a hamstring injury merely minutes into his debut in pre-season.
He returned to the fold and made cameo appearances in wins over Everton and Watford but was then condemned to another lay-off when the hamstring problem reoccured while in action for England against Switzerland in September.
Delph lasted just NINE seconds on the field.
That injury left the 25-year old on the treatment table for a considerable amount of time before he came back into the squad and came on as a substitute in away games against Sevilla and Aston Villa – his former employers.

There is no news on his latest injury but it’s devastating for Delph having already suffered two muscle injuries this season – restricting his game-time signifcantly.
John Cross brought the news to everyone’s attention with this tweet:
Fabian Delph misses training and likely to miss France game. Takes England injury list to a staggering 17. Astonishing.

Hopefully it is not as bad as we expect and Delph is available for the next run of games.
