Galatasaray are reportedly keen on retaining City defender Jason Denayer for another season, according to Fanatik.
Denayer was in line for a spot in Manuel Pellegrini’s first-team squad this season after a strong loan spell with Celtic in which he scooped the SPL Young Player of the Year award.
However, the signing of Nicolas Otamendi from Valencia pushed the 20-year old aside somewhat and he was subsequently loaned out to the Turkish Giants.
The Belgian is predominantly a central defender but has been figuring at right-back for Galatasaray and after slotting in rapidly for Hamza Hamzaoglu’s side.

Denayer is now a regular in Marc Wilmots’ Belgium squad and signed a new five-year deal with City in the summer. But with the likes of Demichelis and Mangala struggling to break into the City side at present, Denayer would likely find his game-time limited.

He has made eight appearances in total for Galatasaray this season, including three starts in the Champions League
And the player himself admitted that he would be open to extending his loan move for a further season.
I am very happy at Galatasaray but whether I stay here is to of my control and I do not want to create a problem for the clubs involved. We will all talk at the end of the season.
