Ahead of the trip to Villa Park on Sunday, we chat to our sister site Read Aston Villa, and as expected, they don’t speak so highly of Fabian Delph.
What has gone wrong at Aston Villa this season?
We haven’t played our best team. Ayew has been deployed down the left hand side when he’d be more effective up top by himself for example, but things are looking up.
Was it the right call to relieve Tim Sherwood of his duties?

It was. He was out of his depth – Sherwood embodies what is wrong with English football and his poor tactics cost us points.
It’s early days of course but what do you make of the Remi Garde appointment?
Remi Garde looks a very astute appointment, one of the best appointments we have made since Gerard Houllier. I think tactically he’ll improve us and coaching wise he’ll make our team better, we need a solid shape and intelligent plan.
How have former City favourites Micah Richards and Joleon Lescott got on at Villa?
Micah Richards has been good, he is a breath of fresh air and he’s great to have in the side, Lescott… well the less I say about him the better.

It’s probably a trick question but what sort of reception do you think Fabian Delph get should be involved in Sunday?
Haha! I think we can expect a lot of plastic snakes flying around Villa Park, a lot of dirty language. He’ll be running to the coach after the game I bet.
Which City player are you most worried about?
We have to be aware of De Bruyne, he is so good on the pitch and is a very direct style of player which can be of great danger to our defence.

Can we get a score prediction from you?
I think we could nick it. 1-0 Villa.
