Manchester City goalkeeper Richard Wright has been linked with a loan move to Championship side Leeds United.
Wright, yet to make a competitive appearance for Manuel Pellegrini’s side, has reportedly emerged as a target for the Yorkshire side following an injury to Ross Turnbull.

The 37-year old has largely been a mentor and at coach in the goalkeeping department at City, assisting Xabier Mancisdor in bringing the best out of Joe Hart and Willy Caballero.
A former England international, Wright joined City after just a week at Preston North End and has featured in the matchday squad on just one occasion this season in a Capital One Cup tie against Sunderland.

With a Premier League Winners medal to his name, Wright boasts a wealth of experience but has never really threatened City’s two first-team goalkeepers.
A loan move could see him get a rare bit of game-time at Leeds and would likely mean Ian Lawlor or Angus Gunn become third-choice goalkeeper at City.
