Manchester City are said to be rivalling West Ham for another Nigerian youngster, according to All Nigeria Soccer.

Kelechi Nwakali, a Nigerian U-17 international, scored three goals at the 2015 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations and is part of the Golden Eagles side who are currently in Chile for the U-17 World Cup.
Incidentally, the player’s brother Chidiebere, has ties to City and is currently on loan at Girona – a club City have developed a relationship with.
Chidibere Nwakali spent some time on loan at Malaga last season and it appears now City are keen on bringing his brother to the club.

But West Ham are understood to be equally, if not more interested in Nwakali and are believed to have invited him to the club’s facilities. However his national team commitments have stopped that from taking place.
Nwakali, much like City prospect Kelechi Iheanacho, would likely have problems in regards to his work permit and that could be put City off signing the 17-year old.
