Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed that three Manchester City players will not be fit in time for next week’s Manchester derby.
Sergio Aguero, David Silva and Aleksandar Kolarov all picked up injuries in the dreaded international break and will now be sidelined for the huge crunch clash at Old Trafford.

Argentine Aguero was first to fall, picking up a hamstring injury that will not rule him out for at least a month, according to City boss Pellegrini.
Sergio has a muscle injury,” said Pellegrini. “I think It’s an important injury, so I don’t think he will be back before one month.
City fans feared the worst when David Silva took a nasty knock while on duty for Spain and though City have been dealt a major blow with him not making the derby, he should be back sooner than Aguero.

“David Silva has a kick on his ankle, so is also out. Delph continues with Clichy to recover and Aleksandar also has a muscle injury in his hamstring. They are the five players injured.
“With Silva, it is difficult to know. It’s very important the way he improves, but both he and Aleksandar can be back before 15 days.”
City come up against Bournemouth on Saturday and though the injury list is still steep with the likes of Delph and Clichy still out, Fernando, Samir Nasri and Yaya Toure are in contention for the fixture.
