Manchester City are said to be monitoring the situation of Rennes winger Paul-Georges Ntep, according to Le10Sport. Cameroonian-born Ntep was in the frame for a call-up to the France National Team before being hit by a hamstring problem.

Ntep, a left sided player, has reportedly attracted interest from the likes of Bayern Munich, Juventus, Chelsea and only has two years left on his current Rennes deal.
It is understood that his club are aiming to extend his contract but links with some of European heavyweights may not make talks so easy.
City are believed to have enquired about the Frenchman in the past and are known to scout regularly in France. Youngsters Thierry Ambrose, Olivier Ntcham, David Faupala and Seko Fofana have all been brought in from French academies in recent times.
The Blues signed two attacking players in Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling but do have a tendency to look towards the very best future prospects. Patrick Roberts, Enes Unal and Aleix Garcia were all part of City’s transfer business this summer.

However Georges-Ntep, at 23, is much older than the aforementioned players and would be an interesting purchase given that City are already stocked with attackers.
