Manchester City are believed to be first in the que to sign Benfica’s Victor Andrade, who has made a mere three appearances for the Portugese side.

The 20-year old is said to be the next exciting talent to emerge from Brazil and turned out 34 times for Benfica’s reserve side last season, having previously plied his trade with Santos, following in the footsteps of the likes of Neymar and Robinho.
Incidentally, former Manchester City forward Robinho is Andrade’s godfather.
According to the Daily Mirror, City are rivalling Chelsea in the race for £25m-rated Andrade.
The Brazilian possesses a Portugese passport so would not require a work permit, and would fit City’s policy in regards to recruiting young players – with the likes of Patrick Roberts, Enes Unal and Kelechi Iheanacho all coming to City in recent seasons.
