City winger Raheem Sterling has had his say on how things have been going at Manchester City and has talked glowingly of the quality at the club, on and off the pitch.
Sterling made the move to City in the summer in a deal that made him England’s most expensive footballer.
And the 20-year old has been speaking to the Guardian’s Daniel Taylor about his early football memories, the infamous BBC interview and of course the big-money move to Manchester.

“The tempo, the passing, the two-touch movement in training; it’s really surprised me,” the former Liverpool man said when asked about the quality in the City side.
It’s really sharp, really good to be involved in. There are more experienced players here. Obviously, Liverpool had many great players as well but the players here have been at the highest level for many years and you can definitely see that on the training pitch.
Sterling has scored two goals in a City shirt so far and though the team’s performance levels have dipped recently, he maintains that this is undoubtedly the best place for him to improve as a player.
I remember my first day here after signing, I was driving in thinking: ‘This is the place, this is the place you want to work every day.’
