According to SPORT, Manchester City are back in the race to sign Real Madrid midfielder Isco, who has previously been a top target for the club.
Over the year’s Manchester City’s interest in the Spanish playmaker has been well-documented, namely when Manuel Pellegrini left Malaga to become City boss.
Isco was the star of Pellegrini’s Malaga side and was heavily linked with the Blues throughout the 2013 summer window and instead made the move to Los Blancos.

But now, with his position under threat at Real, largely due to the impressive form of James Rodriguez and the signing of Mateo Kovacic, Isco may well leave the Bernabeu.
Arsenal are believed to have watched the 23-year old a number of times in the past year, while it is Juventus who have been touted as a potential destination for the former Valencia youth player.
The Italian giants lost out on Julian Draxler in the summer and it is understood they plan to launch a bid for Isco next summer.

Isco has been commonly considered as a player capable of taking over from City’s David Silva but with the 29-year old showing no signs of decline as of yet, City are in not in desperate need of a player of Isco’s ilk but could still keep tabs on the player.
