Ever since his arrival at Manchester City, David Silva has been an instant hit with City fans. He has left supporters in pure awe of his talents and is admired for the low-profile he keeps off the pitch.
The Spaniard has been a cult figure in the club’s rise to prominence and has played in a plethora of huge games in the club’s history.
The former Valencia man spoke to the club’s official website and revealed his favourite game – it is one that will site nicely with the City faithful.
“Choosing my favourite game was actually quite easy. To go to Old Trafford, beat United 6-1 infront of their own fans and play the way we did means that this game will always be hard to top.”
Silva completely ran the show, pulling the strings in a masterful display for the Blues, who duly dispatched United and embarrassed their neighbours in their own backyard.
The 29-year old continued, saying: “Like everyone else, QPR will always be an amazing memory, but from a performance point of view, this was the game I enjoyed the most.”
