Juventus are interested in Stevan Jovetic again according to Gazzetta dello Sport, after already being interested in the Montenegrin in previous transfer windows, including 2015’s January window.
With the former Fiorentina a candidate to leave the club following two average seasons following a 2013 move from La Viola. He’s struggled with injuries and following that struggled to see past Sergio Aguero for a starting place, despite a strong start to the 2014/15 season.
In January, Jovetic looked like he might make a loan move back to Serie A, keen to jumpstart his career after falling in his first season at City, and then struggling to break into the team for much of this season.
Now, his agent Fali Ramadani could be set to meet with the Turin side this week in order to talk about a move. Internazionale have also been linked with a move for the Montenegro star this window, as Roberto Mancini looks to start a raid on Manchester City – a raid, which has so far proved unsuccessful.
If Jovetic does depart Eastlands this summer, City are likely to see a loss on the fee they paid to Fiorentina two years ago, after just 11 goals from Jovetic in that two season spell.
