Paris Saint-Germain are lining up a big-money move for Sergio Aguero this summer according to France Football, as they aim to find a new striker to spearhead their attack with doubts surrounding the futures of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani this summer. However, City remain unlikely to sell their star forward.
Ibrahimovic looks set to leave PSG and return to AC Milan this summer, having held talks with Nasser Al-Khelaifi about his future, while Edinson Cavani has also been linked with a move back to Italy with Juventus, having spent two years in Ligue 1. Both have been successful signings in the French capital, but their futures look uncertain as PSG target European success.
And Al-Khelaifi reportedly believes Sergio Aguero is the man to bring them this, and is willing to spend big to sign the Argentine. Real Madrid have also been linked with a move for the 27-year-old striking star, but he looks set to remain at City; especially so given his recent comments that he wants to stay with City for “many years”, news which certainly pleases Blues.
The former Atletico Madrid man was recently ranked as the fifth most valuable player in the world at a lofty £63 million, but one might imagine it would take even more than that for Sheikh Mansour and Khaldoon Al-Mubarak to be convinced to let go of their prized asset.
