According to Spanish source Fichajes, Manchester City have offered Paul Pogba a whopping £250,000 per week if he leaves Juventus and makes the move to Eastlands this summer, instead of making a move to Barcelona, the other team most heavily linked with the French midfielder.
Fichajes believe that Pogba has received offers from both City and Barcelona, with The Blues the only club offering £250,000 per week. However, they also believe that Pogba values his football over his money, which could turn him towards the Spanish club instead of The Etihad.
It remains to be seen how City would pay for a move for the midfielder, with rumours that one or more players could be going in the opposite direction were Pogba to be signed, with Jovetic and Toure both rumoured. On his own, Pogba is likely to cost upwards of £70 million in cash, but whoever signs him will be hopeful they can drive that price down somewhat.
Despite the hefty pricetag, the move would probably end up being a worthwhile purchase for the signing club. Still only 22, Pogba has years ahead of him in the game, and if he were to settle at one club and be successful then they would have a real talent on their hands, one who could be at a club for a decade or more.
