City have agreed a deal worth up to £85m to sell Savinho to Tottenham, with the Brazil international now set to undergo a medical.
Tottenham will pay an initial £75m for the 22-year-old, with a further £10m potentially due in add-ons.
The agreement brings Spurs’ pursuit of Savinho close to completion after they failed with attempts to sign him last summer.
There is still a medical to complete before the transfer can be formally announced, but an agreement between the clubs is now in place.
Savinho set for Tottenham medical
Savinho joined City from Troyes in the summer of 2024 after impressing during a loan spell with Girona.
He featured regularly during his first season at the Etihad but found starts harder to come by last term, making only seven in the Premier League.
Tottenham have retained their interest and have now agreed a package which could eventually reach £85m.
It represents a substantial return for City on a player who has spent two seasons in their first-team squad.
Savinho’s expected departure could also have an impact on City’s remaining transfer business.
Enzo Maresca’s side are pursuing Palmeiras winger Allan, with talks now under way with the Brazilian club after City reportedly reached a verbal agreement on personal terms with the 22-year-old.
City and Tottenham have also been discussing a separate deal for Omar Marmoush.
For Savinho, however, the position is much further advanced. The clubs have agreed the transfer and, barring a problem with his medical, the winger is set to become a Tottenham player.
