Man City v Norwich: Kick-off time, TV channel and how to watch Carabao Cup tie

Manchester City begin the defence of the Carabao Cup on Thursday night when Championship side Norwich visit the Etihad Stadium.

City enter the competition in the third round because of their involvement in the Champions League and will be looking to start another run in a competition they won last season. Enzo Maresca’s side beat Arsenal 2-0 at Wembley in March, with Nico O’Reilly scoring both goals.

When did Man City last play Norwich?

The sides last met in the Premier League at Carrow Road in February 2022, when City won 4-0. Raheem Sterling scored a hat-trick that night, with Phil Foden also on target. City had won the reverse fixture 5-0 at the Etihad earlier that season.

Norwich have already won twice away from home in this season’s Carabao Cup, beating MK Dons and Cardiff City to reach the third round. Maresca will speak to the media on Wednesday afternoon, when there should be a clearer picture of the players available for the tie.
