Man City team news

Nico O’Reilly is fit and available after missing City’s wins over Coventry and Porto with a back problem. Maresca confirmed on Friday that the England international is “100% available” for the derby.

Jérémy Doku will not be involved. The Belgian has been out since suffering a calf injury against Arsenal in the Community Shield, with Maresca saying he needs “some more days” before returning.

Manchester United team news

Luke Shaw is available after missing Thursday night’s win over Sabah, when United opted not to take any risks with the defender following the cramp he suffered against Everton.

Carlos Baleba remains unavailable and is yet to make his United debut following his £70m summer move from Brighton. Amad Diallo and Matthijs de Ligt are also out, while Manuel Ugarte is a long-term absentee after suffering a cruciate ligament injury during the World Cup.

United otherwise came through their Champions League win over Sabah without adding to their injury list, leaving Michael Carrick with decisions to make ahead of Sunday’s derby.
