Maresca made nine changes when the teams met in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday, with several senior players rested.

The league meeting should therefore have a different look, despite the quick turnaround. City begin the weekend top of the Premier League, while Brighton arrive at the Etihad in third after an impressive start to the season.
