Three Man City players set for international action tonight – details and how to watch

Three City players could feature for their countries tonight as the September and October international break moves towards its conclusion.

The headline fixture from a City perspective sees Erling Haaland and Rúben Dias on opposite sides when Norway face Portugal in Porto, while Ayyoub Bouaddi could feature for Morocco against Ghana.

Antoine Semenyo had originally been scheduled to represent Ghana during this international window but withdrew from the squad because of a swollen leg and will therefore not face his City team-mate Bouaddi tonight.

Haaland and Dias set for City reunion

Haaland and Dias have each completed 270 minutes during the international break and will now come up against each other in the Nations League. He has scored three times during the window, including a goal when Norway were beaten 2-1 by Portugal earlier in the competition.

Dias completed another 90 minutes on Thursday as Portugal beat Denmark 4-2 in Copenhagen and has also started all three of his country’s matches during the break.

Bouaddi has started both of Morocco’s matches during the international window so far and could earn further minutes against Ghana tonight.

For Manchester City, the priority will be seeing the trio complete their international commitments without problems before returning to the City Football Academy ahead of next Sunday’s Premier League trip to Liverpool.

Semenyo, meanwhile, has remained away from Ghana duty while recovering from his injury.
