Etihad Stadium concerts 2027: Etihad Stadium exterior with supporters

Manchester City are planning further concerts at the Etihad Stadium in July 2027 after Oasis complete their 11-show residency at the ground the previous month.

Oasis will play throughout June at the Man City stadium, with more than half a million tickets available across the run.

The club have now revealed that further concerts are being considered for July, although no additional artists have been announced.

Danny Wilson confirmed the plans while speaking at the opening of Medlock Square, the new development around the stadium.

More Etihad concerts planned for July

According to the Manchester Evening News, Wilson said:

“We’re back in the concert game right? There was an announcement last Monday about Oasis coming to the stadium, that’s 11 nights throughout the month of June next year, and we’ve got some more concerts we’re looking at into July next year as well.”

The Oasis residency begins on 4 June and runs until 26 June, giving the Etihad a busy concert programme before any additional July dates are added.

Wilson’s comments came as City officially opened Medlock Square, part of the wider development around the Etihad Campus.

The project includes The Medlock, a 401-room Radisson Blu hotel, new restaurants and public spaces, while the expanded North Stand will add around 7,000 seats to the stadium.

Wilson said City’s aim over the next six to 12 months is to establish Medlock Square as a destination throughout the week rather than simply on matchdays.

The Etihad will also stage five matches during Euro 2028 and is among the proposed venues included in the UK’s bid to host the 2035 Women’s World Cup.

It adds another strand to a period of considerable change around City’s home, alongside an increasingly busy football calendar covered in our look at City’s upcoming schedule.
