Walker reveals Kane wanted Man City move

Former City defender Walker has revealed that Kane wanted to move to the Etihad during the club’s pursuit of the Tottenham striker in 2021. Walker said the transfer came “very close”, although the two clubs were ultimately unable to agree a deal. City subsequently signed Erling Haaland the following summer.
