Erling Haaland scored twice, including the winner, as Norway opened their UEFA Nations League campaign with a 3-2 victory over Denmark in Oslo.
The Man City striker played the full 90 minutes for Stale Solbakken’s side and was on the scoresheet after 18 minutes. Former City winger Oscar Bobb had put Norway ahead four minutes earlier, curling home after being found by Martin Odegaard.
Haaland doubled the lead when Antonio Nusa played him through and the striker beat Denmark goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen.

Denmark were level by the hour. Mikkel Damsgaard pulled one back from a free-kick after 25 minutes before Rasmus Hojlund headed home the equaliser in the second half.
Haaland struck again in the 74th minute. Norway worked a short corner to Odegaard, who reached the byline and cut the ball back for Haaland to finish from close range.
It proved enough for all three points, although Norway had to finish the game with 10 men after David Moller Wolfe was shown a second yellow card in stoppage time. Haaland ended the night with two more goals and another 90 minutes ahead of Norway’s second Nations League game of the international break.
They face Portugal on Sunday, when the City striker will come up against club captain Ruben Dias after the defender helped his country beat Wales 1-0 in their opening game.
