Ex-Bournemouth goalkeeper shares Antoine Semenyo prediction which came true when he joined Manchester City

Ionut Radu has revealed the prediction he made about Antoine Semenyo which became a reality when the star switch Bournemouth for Manchester City.

Antoine Semenyo has looked the real deal for some time and he really stood out during his time at Bournemouth.

The left winger bagged 11 goals and five assists in the Premier League last season and this year he already has 15 goals and four assists.

Semenyo’s qualities have really been shining through since he joined Manchester City, but it would be unfair to say this is only because he is playing in a better team.

Without a doubt, the 26-year-old was already an unbelievable talent at Bournemouth and he certainly made an impression on one of his former teammates.

Ionut Radu made a prediction about Antoine Semenyo which came true

While Semenyo still played for the Cherries, Ionut Radu, the club’s goalkeeper, was amazed by the Ghanian international.

In fact, he even predicted Semenyo to become Bournemouth’s most expensive player of all time, which of course is now the case after he signed for Man City.

Radu told Diarioas: “On my first day in Bournemouth, I told my family he was the best player I’d ever seen. I also told them he was going to be the biggest sale the club would ever make, and that happened.

“He’s an incredible player, a lot of strength, technique – everything. He’s very good, I respect him a lot.”

Semenyo looks set to be a bigger success story than Dominic Solanke

Bournemouth have gathered a lot of money from transfer fees over the past few years and Dominic Solanke was their record sale until Semenyo departed the club.

The striker has done fairly well at Tottenham Hotspur, but his goalscoring record was very underwhelming during his opening season in North London.

However, Semenyo already looks just as good for Man City as he was at Bournemouth, if not better and this is only the beginning.
