Manchester City are set to offer Kevin De Bruyne a huge new deal, according to the Mirror.
The Belgian international has been one of, if not the, best players in the league so far this season, and is continuing to impress in what has been a superb season for City so far.
De Bruyne has been the centrepiece of City’s success and is held in extremely high regard by boss Pep Guardiola.
The report states that the former Chelsea man is currently earning a wage of £110,000 per week. However, with the new deal on the table, he is set to earn double that, with a colossal figure of £220,000 per week touted.
Patrick De Koster, who is currently De Bruyne’s representative, confirmed that he will host talks with City with regards to a new contract for his client.
In the coming months I’ll meet with City to figure out how to improve and extend his contract.
De Bruyne will now hope to kick on and maintain this rich vein of form.
