Manchester City youngster Gabriel Jesus has been shortlisted among the nominees for the 2017 Golden Award.
As per Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, Jesus is one of seven Premier League players to be named on the list, joining Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford, Liverpool duo Dominic Solanke and Joe Gomez, as well as Dominic Calvin-Lewin and Kyle Walker-Peters.
Jesus has enjoyed a fine start to the new Premier League season, forming a clinical partnership with Sergio Aguero. The Brazilian has scored five goals in all competitions for City this season.

Reports have already emerged that Jesus is in line to earn a new deal at City, despite only joining in January.
Other high-profile names included in the list include Paris Saint-Germain sensation Kylian Mbappe, Barcelona’s summer signing Ousmane Dembélé, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Real Madrid’s Theo Hernandez.
The previous winner was Renato Sanches, who earned a big-money move to Bayern Munich off the back of an impressive Euro 2016 with Portugal.
