Manchester City appear to have finally made their first move for Alexis Sanchez.
According to Goal’s Sammy Lee, among other reliable journalists, City have made a £50m offer to sign the Chilean international as he grows increasingly unhappy with his situation at Arsenal.

The enigmatic forward has just under a year remaining on his deal at the Emirates and is showing no signs of intent in regards to signing a new contract with the club.

Sanchez is understood to be keen on reuniting with Pep Guardiola at the Etihad Stadium, and will be hoping that Arsenal give him the go-ahead for the move.
However, they have turned down City’s opening offer for Sanchez. It looks as though if Guardiola is to land the former Barcelona man this summer, he will need to pay well in excess of £50m, as Arsenal continue to cling on to their star man.
