City to include £50m buy-back option in Iheanacho deal

Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho appears to be edging ever closer to completing his big-money move to Leicester City.

The Nigerian international was pictured at the Foxes’ training ground undergoing medical examinations ahead of a £25 million move.

However, according to a report from the Telegraph, City have been shrewd in their negotiations for the deal, and are poised to include a buy-back option worth a huge £50m.

It appears that the 20-year-old’s move to the King Power Stadium will be announced in the very near future, with him keen to find first-team football elsewhere in order to further his development.

Iheanacho was wanted by a whole host of top flight clubs, and the report from the Telegraph claims that Leicester beat the likes of AS Monaco to his signature.

City will have first refusal on the forward if he does progress as expected in the future.
